Neuraxpharm embraces renewable energy with installation of photovoltaic panels in Spain
Neuraxpharm is delighted to announce the successful installation of more than 400 photovoltaic panels at its facilities in Sant Joan Despi, Barcelona. The energy produced will be used onsite.
Inline with Neuraxpharm’s commitment to creating sustainable operations that have a positive impact on the environment, this substantial investment will generate a significant amount of clean energy for Neuraxpharm’s affiliates in Spain, all of which are located in Sant Joan Despi, where more than 50% of the Group’s employees work.
The panels have a capacity of 220 kW, generating 220,000 kWh of clean energy per year. They have been installed on the roof and car park canopy of the Neuraxpharm Pharmaceuticals production plant building in Sant Joan Despí, totalling 860m2.
Not only does this renewable energy initiative align with our environmental responsibilities, but it also serves as an example of our ongoing commitment to innovation and responsible corporate practices as outlined in our ESG strategy.
