Vikas is a senior industry leader with over 25 years of healthcare and clinical research experience leading high-value clinical & medical scientific teams across multiple therapeutic areas to deliver successful developmental and program milestones in large pharma and Clinical Research Organizations (CRO).

He has held positions as Chief Medical Officer at Quintiles, India (later known as IQVIA) and Global Head of Medicine for CNS, Retinal Health & Emerging Areas at Boehringer Ingelheim. He joined Neuraxpharm from Fortrea GmBH where he was the Global Head for Neuroscience and Ophthalmology. Vikas holds a bachelor’s degree in General Medicine from the SMS Medical College Jaipur, an MD in Psychiatry from the Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College (GSMC) and the King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital of Mumbai, and a management certificate in Business Development through innovation from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Vikas is well regarded as a key thought leader in CNS clinical research. He works as an independent ethics expert with the prestigious European Research Council and chairs multiple industry and global initiatives in the fields of digital biomarkers, CNS trial methodologies and precision mental health.
